About Us

Armidale Skate Bowl Play has been part of the Armidale community for more than 35 years, bringing generations of families and friends together to skate, bowl, celebrate and have fun.

Today, the venue is entering an exciting new chapter.

Armidale Skate Bowl Play is now part of The Alley Entertainment Centre group, an Australian-owned entertainment business focused on creating vibrant, family-friendly destinations in regional communities.

Over the coming months, our Armidale venue will begin its transition into The Alley Entertainment Centre Armidale. While the name, look and experience will evolve, the things that have made this venue special for so many years will remain at the heart of what we do — great entertainment, memorable celebrations and a strong connection to the local community.

We continue to offer activities for all ages, including skating, bowling, group events, birthday parties and social gatherings, with experiences that can be relaxing, challenging or competitive depending on how you want to play.

Supporting the Armidale community is also an important part of our story. We proudly work with schools, sporting clubs, community organisations and fundraising groups to help create events that are both enjoyable and worthwhile.

And this is only the beginning.

We have some exciting plans ahead as we transform the venue into the next generation of The Alley Entertainment Centre, with new experiences, refreshed spaces and even more reasons for Armidale to come together and play.

For now, it’s still the place Armidale knows — just with an exciting new chapter underway.

Come in, have some fun and be part of what comes next.
